Everything In Sport Women’s Edition conference took place at the Ullevaal Stadion, in Oslo, Norway on the 27th of March 2025. This conference pledged to celebrate the phenomenal growth and prominence of women’s sports, not only in Norway and Scandinavia but also globally. We dived into conversations spotlighting the accomplishments, hurdles, and future for women in sports. We also discussed the inevitable wins shown by the Norwegian female athletes at last year’s Olympics in Paris as well as diving into controversial topics that have sparked conversations worldwide. The saying about Norwegians and skiing is “Norwegians are born with skis on their feet”. With sports being a natural interest for Norwegians and young female athletes receiving early sports education, there is much to be said about the Norwegian approach to sports.

Throughout the conference, attendees engaged with influential leaders and decision-makers from the world of athletics and business. Through panel dialogues and networking opportunities, the event facilitated unmatched chances to build meaningful connections and partnerships.

Central to our agenda is a dedication to bridging the divide between women’s sports and corporate entities. As we witness the rising popularity and triumphs of female athletes, it’s crucial to promote collaborative platforms and support systems to sustain this upward trajectory.

Our mission to ‘Sport for Social Change’ underscores our belief in its power to effect positive societal change and by championing diversity, inclusivity, and equitable opportunities in sports, we aim to inspire transformative shifts for women in sports.

OSLO HIGHLIGHTS

TESTIMONIALS

“This was my coolest experience as a speaker so far – and an important reminder of why I am passionate about this particular topic.

It was extra inspiring to meet an even tougher woman named Silje Opseth.

Because it’s fine to succeed in a male-dominated profession, but we’re put together in a completely different way.

Quote Dr. Stacy Sims “Women are not small men”.

“In the last couple of months, I joined some amazing people on the advisory board for the Everything in Sport: Women Edition in Oslo. It was great to see the event come to life last week.

Thank you to Rupert Bose for inviting me to join the team and for moderating the panel on “Silent Struggle: Confronting Power Abuse and Dominance in Women’s Sports,” which I shared with Julie Karima Berg and Łukasz Klimczyk.”

“A big thank you to the organizers for bringing the conference to Norway and letting us take part. David Kreyling & the good and talented people at Omnia Sports Group, hopefully, this is the start of something great.”

“I was honored to contribute as a panelist on “Innovating Sport: Rethinking Strategies for Growth in Women’s Sport”. We explored innovative solutions to growing attendance at women’s sport events, increasing female attendance at sport events in general, and sustaining female participation in sport over time.

A huge thank you to the organizers, all panelists, and attendees – your insights, openness, and passion made this event a true highlight. It was also a great opportunity to both strengthen existing relationships and build new ones.”

“I’m honored to have participated in Everything in Sport: Women’s Edition conference in Oslo, where I was a speaker on the panel “Silent Struggles: Power Abuse and Dominance in Women’s Sport.”

We discussed key challenges faced by women in sports – from power abuse and legal barriers to the need for greater female representation in leadership positions. A particularly important topic was the new regulations in Poland, aimed at enhancing the safety and support for female athletes and introducing protection standards in sports organizations. We also explored esports and the persisting gender disparities in this rapidly growing industry. A huge thank you to my fellow panelists for an inspiring discussion and to the organizers for creating this much-needed platform for sharing experiences.”

“A huge thank you to Everything in Sport for bringing this event to Oslo and creating such an important opportunity for us to come together and discuss how we can build safer, more inclusive spaces for women in sports. These conversations are essential in shaping a sustainable future for the industry.

I’m incredibly grateful to my fellow panelists for sharing their honest insights—not just on what we can do for women in esports, but also on how we can collaborate with other sports federations to foster inclusive environments for women across all sports.”
