Jonathan is CEO of ethical data science company, Signify Group. Tom Russell has served as the Chief Legal Officer of Genius Sports Group since April 2020 and prior thereto served as the General Counsel since 2014. Prior to joining Genius Sports Group, Mr. Russell served as a Senior Associate at DLA Piper, practicing in their Media, Sports, Gaming and Entertainment practice. Mr. Russell began his career in 2004 as an associate in Berwin Leighton Paisner’s London office (now Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP). Graham has worked in sport for over 25 years and has had an international career with leadership roles in many different aspects of the business. From working on the creation of UEFA’s first in-house commercial agency, running Nike UK & Ireland’s sports marketing division to Sky Sports – his different roles have involved all major sports and all types of sports business. For the last 10 years he has been the CEO and Chair of the Board of Velon, a company owned by the world’s top cycling teams which he helped to create in 2014. Adrian has been General Manager at Football DataCo since August 2016. Football DataCo is a Premier League and EFL joint venture and controls all match related data rights for professional leagues in England and Scotland. Then COVID hit. While working in data mining and prediction models, I saw my wife—an eight-time French ballroom champion—struggle to teach dance online. Watching her battle with Zoom, it became clear: digital dance education was broken.
