CHAIR
Kristin Engvig
A global pioneer for women and authentic leadership, Kristin created WIN 25 years ago from her kitchen table – to bring alive a vision of a more feminine, global and sustainable way at work, in communities and life. Thousands of individuals and hundreds of world-class companies have attended WIN’s live experiences across Europe as well as in India, Nigeria, Japan and the UAE. She was recently awarded the EuroKnowledge Outstanding Women Leadership Award and has also been recognized by the CEO for Life Awards, Diversity Global Magazine and the International Alliance of Women for her work. In her early career she worked for JP Morgan, Citibank and Innovation Norway, EU and as a strategy and marketing consultant. She attends global meetings such as the W7 of the G7 and the Nobel Peace Prize Forum, and she also chaired the Women in Leadership meeting at the Davos SDG tent in 2020. A business economist (BI, Oslo) with an MBA (Milan’s Bocconi), she has also completed a wealth of interdisciplinary studies including coaching, acting and yoga. She grew up in Norway, is a mother of Leonardo and passionate about creativity, voice, nature, family. She is also one of Global Citizen Forum’s spokes people, sits on numerous advisory boards and is the Heading GCF/WIN’s Women Pioneering Global Change initiative which next large event will be hosted at the UN in New York.
VICE CHAIR
Rupert Bose
Rupert was born in England and after 15 operational years in the Police Service and law school he moved to Norway.
He is Project Manager for the Women In Sport Editions in Europe.
He became a social worker for drug dependent and psychiatric patients.
He consults in employment law cases for the government.
After 10 years operational leadership in the volunteer Search and Rescue teams, he advises on conflict and trauma management for the Norwegian Red Cross.
As an advocate for the uniquely Norwegian concept of “Dugnad”, Rupert is passionate for “Sport for Social Change!”
“Dugnad translates as giving back to your community through inclusion.
In 2004 Dugnad was adopted as Norway’s national identifying word.
The word stems from the Norse language meaning – Help, good deed, and power!”
Rupert enjoys making his contribution at grass root level.
He has practiced karate for over 50 years and instructs in self-defense.
CORE THEME ADVISORY BOARD
Education
Education enables discussions on various topics, such as the significance of sports in school curriculum and education’s impact on fostering sports and physical activity. It’s vital for the workforce to possess relevant qualifications, reflecting societal needs. Conversations on engagement, equality, and inclusion persist across sporting communities, spanning from youth and amateur to elite levels.
Knut Gilhuus
Knut has worked for 40 years in Norwegian secondary and upper secondary schools.
Former principal and head of school for students with hearing impairment.
He started and led a special department for students with major functional impairments.
As the father of a daughter with autism, Knut has been involved in the Autism Association in Norway with various board positions and as leader.
He has contributed to national guidelines for how people with disabilities can function with appropriate support in society.
He is a happy grandfather of many active children.
Former active athlete in ski jumping, football, athletics, and handball.
In recent years, board member of Drammen handball club, which is one of Norway’s leading teams for men.
He is a person who has filled various positions of trust and has been co-organiser of major conferences and events.
Alex Krumer
Alex Krumer is a professor of sports economics at Molde University College in Norway. His main research interests are sports, gender, and behavioural economics. His scientific papers have been published in leading academic journals and featured in major media outlets. Alex Krumer serves as a co-editor-in-chief of Sports Economics Review and as an associate editor in Journal of Behavioural and Experimental Economics, and Empirical Economics
Gamification
Gamification entails the integration of game mechanics into non-gaming environments, including Esports, websites, online communities, learning management systems, and business intranets, with the objective of broadening audience participation. Its overarching goal is to stimulate interaction, sharing, and collaboration among consumers, employees, and partners, thereby enhancing engagement and productivity.
Mulan Friis
Mulan Friis brings extensive experience in service, sales, and content production within the gaming and entertainment industries. As a Communications Manager at E-sport Alliansen, she specializes in providing strategic communication advice to members, focusing on grassroots e-sport initiatives for youth in Norway. Mulan excels in brand development using Adobe InDesign, promoting events, and fostering collaborations with influencers. She plays a key role in facilitating club funding applications, empowering grassroots e-sport clubs and contributing to the growth of e-sports among Norwegian youth. Passionate about community engagement, Mulan has led inclusive gaming events in Bergen, Arendal, and Oslo for children and young adults with disabilities, promoting accessibility and fostering inclusion and diversity within the gaming community. With a proven track record in event coordination and social media content creation, Mulan is dedicated to driving impactful outcomes in cultural events and festivals, collaborating with stakeholders to create meaningful experiences.
Elin Yoojung Moen
Elin Yoojung Moen is the President of the Norwegian Esports Federation. She’s also the Vice President of the Nordic Esports Federation, by the time of the event at Ullevål she will be the President of the Nordic federation.
She’s a former Taekwondo athlete, and is a certified CrossFit lv2 Coach.
She has over 10 years of experience working in the esports event scene in Norway. She speaks fluently French and English, and she has lived abroad several years in France and Korea that has led to an impressive understanding of different cultures and a network that stretches across the entire world.
She also works actively as an AV technician/Project leader at a Norwegian production company.
Innovation
We draw inspiration from innovation and its relationship with sports. A primary focus of Everything In Sport will be the influence of innovation on the current business landscape of sports. The event will feature case studies, presentations, and demonstrations by industry experts who aim to improve and challenge the status quo in the sports industry. Everything In Sport will prioritise an innovation and technology theme to provide attendees with insights into the latest regulations and legislative rules.
Zohreh Abdollanhkani
Zohreh is a last year PhD research fellow in gender, sport and sustainability, University of Southeastern Norway and got her Master degree in global sport management from Seoul National University. She is a Former member of the Iranian ice climbing team and is a sport-climbing continental Referee in Asia.
Regulation
Sport regulation typically falls under the purview of a Sports Governing Body, leading to a stable core of commonly accepted rules. Professional sports exemplify a mix of stringent and evolving regulations, with governing bodies exercising control rather than just defining the sport. Everything In Sport will feature a focused theme on regulation to educate attendees about the latest rules and legislation. It is crucial for the sports and physical activity sector to grasp appropriate conduct across all settings, encompassing volunteers and paid staff alike.
Aneta Grabüll Soldati
Aneta Grabmüller Soldati is a PhD candidate with a focus on gender equality in sports media at the University of Bergen and Kristiania University College. With a history as a professional triathlete with an international success, Aneta has transitioned her passion for sports into academic and leadership roles. As an IOC Young Leader, she spearheads initiatives like ‘Naplno’ to enhance athlete well-being in the Czech Republic. Aneta is a powerful advocate for safeguarding and mental health in sport.
Stimulation
In the competitive world of professional sports, success hinges on tiny margins, underscoring the importance of understanding participation
factors in physical activity. The performance gap between elite athletes often amounts to less than one percent, driving an exploration of sports psychology and science to enhance mental capabilities. Everything In Sport will spotlight stimulation, offering attendees comprehensive insights into the latest psychological and scientific methodologies that give athletes a decisive edge in sports performance.
Sarah Lewis OBE OLY
Sarah Lewis, OBE OLY is a highly respected international sports leader with an extensive network across the Olympic Movement and sport industry.
Sarah became an Olympian (OLY) in Alpine Skiing, representing Great Britain at the Calgary 1988 Games. From 1998 to 2020 she was Secretary General of the largest international winter sports federation,FIS (skiing and snowboarding).
Additionally she was appointed Secretary General of the Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federation, a member of the IOC Programme Commission and Coordination Commissions for the Olympic Winter Games and Youth Olympic Games (2026, 2022, 2020, 2018) and served on the Steering Committee of the SportAccord International Federation Convention (2002-2020).
Subsequently she established Sarah Lewis Global Sports Leader GmbH in 2022 providing services to sport,business,and society.
In 2018 Sarah was awarded the Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire on the Queen’s New Year Honours List for services to sport.
